Dating back to the 12th Century, Trim Castle took 30 years to build and played a key role in Ireland’s history, with its 20-sided cruciform tower protected by moat, ditch and wall. Richard II was a visitor and Henry V was held prisoner there as a young prince.

Competition to win an overnight stay at Trim Castle Hotel, Ireland
- The prize is an overnight stay for two adults sharing a double room at Trim Castle Hotel, County Meath, Ireland, including breakfast, one three-course dinner (excluding drinks) and leisure centre access
- Travel to Ireland is not included. Winners are responsible for arranging their own flights/ferries, transfers and holiday insurance.
- The stay must be taken within six months of notification and dates are subject to promotional availability as advised by the hotel.
- The winner must be aged 18 or over and a UK resident. The prize is non-transferrable (must be used by the winner and guest) and cannot be exchanged for cash or combined with any other offer.
